  1. Health Officer: 4 positions
  2. Female Health Worker: 27 positions
  3. Multi-Purpose Health Worker: 30 positions
  4. Pharmacist: 6 positions

Qualifications
  1. Health Officer-a degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery
    (M.B.B.S) of any of the Universities established or incorporated by
    or under the Central or State Act in India or any other educational
    institution recognized as such or declared to be a deemed university
    under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or
    possess any other qualification specified in first or second schedule
    to the Indian Medical Council Act,1956
  2. FHW-The minimum age limit for the candidates willing to join the GPSSB Female Health Worker is 18 years as of the date of filling out the application form. The candidate should have completed senior secondary examination from a recognized board with minimum marks as per the GPSSB FHW educational qualifications board has notified that age relaxation in the upper age limit to those who belong to the reserved category shall be provided.
  3. MPHW –Candidates must have qualified class 10+2 from a recognized board and also possess a Diploma in Multi-Purpose Health Worker basic course of 1-year duration. The candidate willing to get an appointment under the GPSSB MPHW job profile should be a permanent domicile of Gujarat.
  4. Pharmacist-(i) a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or degree of Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D.) obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India ; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared as deemed to be a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act,1956; or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government;
    OR
    (ii) a diploma in Pharmacy obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared as deemed to be a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act,1956 and having about m two years experience in dispensing the medicines in hospitals or dispensaries ;
    Rule – 3 (c) A candidate shall possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules 1967;
    Rule – 3(d) A candidate shall Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
    Rule-9. A candidate appointed by direct selection shall be required to get himself registered with the Gujarat Pharmacy Council in accordance with the provisions of the Pharmacy Act 1948 at the time of his application for direct selection if he is not so registered.
  5. Lab Technician-In India, candidates who have completed or hold a degree from any recognized university or institute in any field of science may be considered eligible for admission to a university that is recognized as equivalent to the Microbiology or Biochemistry at the undergraduate level, as per the criteria established in the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, Section 3. They may also qualify if they have successfully obtained a degree in Medical Laboratory Technology.(2) In India, candidates who have completed or hold a degree from any recognized university or institute in any field of science may be considered eligible for admission to a university that is recognized as equivalent to Medical Laboratory Technology at the undergraduate level, as per the criteria established in the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, Section 3. They may also qualify if they have successfully obtained a degree in Biotechnology.(3) As per the Government of Gujarat’s recruitment and promotion (General) Rules, 1967, candidates must hold a recognized certificate in basic computer knowledge
