ITI Fitter Trade General Information
Fitter Trade is a mechanically related Trade, where you get to learn about fitting.
Within this 2-year course, you are given such knowledge so that you can work with any kind of fitting.
Pipe fittings, Machine fitting, and structure fittings are the main working areas, on which a fitter works, Also Sheet metal works
In other words, we can say that a technician who puts together or installs Machinery, plants, machines, and other mechanical products are called as a fitter.
If you have also seen a plant being built or a machine installed, then you must have seen how a fitter works to connect each part with very accuracy.

PASS REGULATION
For the purposes of determining the overall result, weightage of 100% is applied for six
months and one-year duration courses and 50% weightage is applied to each examination for
two years courses. The minimum pass percent for Trade Practical and Formative assessment is
60% & for all other subjects are 33%.
The ITI CBT Exam, or Computer-Based Test, For Fitter Trade Theory may be a national examination conducted by the National Committee for Professional Preparing (NCVT) for understudies who have completed their Industrial Training Institute (ITI) course. The exam may be a multiple-choice test that evaluates the students’ knowledge and aptitudes in their chosen exchange.

The ITI Fittert 1st year CBT is divided into two parts: 1. Trade Theory and 2. Employability Skills.
- Trade Theory: In ITI Fitter Trade Theory, the total marks are 100. Candidates will be asked 50 online questions, which will be in multiple-choice format. To pass this subject, a candidate must score a minimum of 33 marks. Out of these 50 questions, 38 questions are related to theory, 6 questions are from engineering drawing, and 6 questions are from workshop calculation and science.
- Employability Skills: In the ITI Employability Skills exam, candidates will be asked a total of 25 questions, and these questions are worth a maximum of 50 marks. To pass this subject, candidates need to score a minimum of 17 marks.

Employability skills – 50 marks
